Premier League

The Premier League is the highest division of professional football (soccer) in England. It was established in 1992, breaking away from the Football League First Division to create a standalone top league. The Premier League consists of 20 teams that compete against each other, with each team playing 38 matches in a season — 19 home games and 19 away games. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the English Football League (EFL) Championship. The club with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the champion, while the bottom three teams are relegated to the Championship. The Premier League is known for its global popularity, high competitiveness, and significant financial revenue, attracting top players and coaches from around the world. It is widely regarded as one of the best football leagues globally.
