Founded in 1993, the UFC operates under a set of rules and regulations, promoting events featuring fighters from various disciplines, including boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai, and more. UFC events are known for their high level of competition, bringing together elite fighters from around the world to compete in a controlled environment, often in an octagonal cage called the Octagon. The UFC has contributed to the growth of MMA as a legitimate sport, hosting numerous events annually, engaging in global broadcasting agreements, and developing a strong fan base.
